Hats Off to Strawberry Beret!

Strawberry-Beret Dress Agency of Hyde prove to be the Cream Of The Crop by making a brace of bowlers available to a local Laurel and Hardy Society so they may be auctioned off in aid of local good causes.

Graeme Green, Grand Sheik of the Sailors Beware Club based at the Cheshire Ring Public House said: “I was very pleased to be contacted and offered the bowler hats as these were the trade mark of the famous comedy duo. One has local interest too as it was manufactured at the Moore’s Hat Factory in Denton. During our ten years of existence we have raised and donated nearly £10,000 to local good causes and when the hats go up for auction at our next meeting we hope that a good sum will be raised”.

Strawberry-Beret dress agency is based in the lower Market Hall Hyde where buyers can purchase good quality new, used and vintage, high street and designer labels at a fraction of their original price, and sellers receive a percentage back for their unwanted clothes and accessories. It is an ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ of goods, and as long as you are open minded and prepared to rummage you can guarantee going home with a bargain, from a piece of jewellery to a wedding dress along with everything else in between.

See www.strawberry-beret.com where they list some of their best items for sale. Members can also list their own clothes and accessories for sale.
