One Good Turn

In September the Hyde branch of the Laurel & Hardy fanclub – Son’s Of The Desert – attended the Heritage Day event in Ashton Town Centre. Members of the ‘Sailors Beware’ Tent were joined at their September meeting by Chair of Ashton Town Team and Deputy Council Leader Councillor Bill Fairfoull. In appreciation of the groups supported Councillor Fairfoull presented a £100 from Ashton Town Team for the groups charitable causes to benefit.

Anyone who fancies a night of medicinal mirth are welcome to attend the next meeting this November. Sailors Beware meet on the last Thursday of the month at the Cheshire Ring in Hyde (opposite Aldi), see web site for details.
