Lords of the Ring

On Saturday 2nd September 2006, the Cheshire Ring Action Posse (CRAP) set off on a charity walk that took in the full circumference of the canal network known as the Cheshire Ring and coincidentally the name of tent #262's home venue.

The team consisted of Mike Ball, Alan Chinner, Neil Macrae, Neil Scott, Paul Rhoades, Rick Beeson, Sarah Maguire and Wayne Taylor the landlord of the Cheshire Ring pub. The walk took 6 days to complete and covered 96 miles in total. The team raised £2,041.30 for Christies Cancer Research in the process.
